Dr Kritesh Maharaj

Kritesh grew up in Hamilton and studied dentistry at the University of Otago. He enjoys getting to know his patients well, understanding what matters to them, and being there from the first appointment through to the final result.

His main interests are periodontal plastic surgery (treating and reshaping the gums), dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics, the kind of treatment that’s carefully planned and often carried out over several months. He also provides IV sedation at the practice for anxious patients and longer procedures.

Dr Ahranni Sivakumar

Ahranni grew up in Auckland and studied dentistry at the University of Queensland. She knows many people feel nervous before a dental visit, so she works at a pace that feels comfortable, explains each step before she starts, and checks in with you along the way.

Her main interests are restorative and cosmetic dentistry, dental implants and orthodontics, from repairing worn, broken or missing teeth to straightening smiles with braces and clear aligners. If it’s been a while since your last check-up, she’s a great place to start.
