How whitening works
Why custom trays
Whitening that fits
- A close fit Trays made from your scan hold the gel against your teeth and keep it off your gums.
- Easy top-ups Keep your trays, and top up with a little gel when you need to.
- Gradual, controlled results You can stop once you reach the shade you want
Risks and limitations
What to consider
- Temporary sensitivity during and shortly after treatment
- Mild gum irritation
- Results fade over time, especially with tea, coffee, red wine and smoking
- Fillings, crowns and veneers won’t change colour
- Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding
Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. We’ll talk through the ones that apply to you before anything goes ahead, and you’re always welcome to get a second opinion.
