Your journey
How Invisalign
treatment works
Risks and limitations
What to consider
- Teeth often feel tender for a day or two with each new set
- Results depend on wearing your aligners about 22 hours a day
- Small tooth-coloured attachments may be needed, and are removed at the end
- Some cases need extra refinement aligners, which can add time
- Teeth will drift back without retainers
Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. We’ll talk through the ones that apply to you before anything goes ahead, and you’re always welcome to get a second opinion.
